DecaTrend turns long video into ranked short-form clips.

DecaTrend is operated by Faction Community, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. We build software for short-form video creators who shoot long-form content — podcasts, livestreams, lectures, interviews, sales calls — and need to ship it as ranked vertical clips to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

What the product does

Upload a raw recording. DecaTrend transcribes it with faster-whisper, finds candidate clips with ClipsAI, scores each clip across six engagement signals, generates burned-in captions, and (for Pro accounts) compares clips against rising trend formats from the Virality Engine. Every job produces an editable project.json that opens in DecaTrend Studio, our in-app editor.

How we think about creators

We do not sell your data. We do not train models on your clips. We do not watermark output. Clips are stored under per-user namespaces in S3-compatible storage with time-limited signed URLs; the worker fleet has no persistent state and never touches the database directly.
