Roles
For self-serve creator accounts, DecaTrend generally acts as an independent controller for account, billing, security, product, and support data. For enterprise workspaces, DecaTrend may act as a processor/service provider for customer-controlled uploaded media and workspace content, depending on the contract.
Processing scope
- Subject matter: creator-video processing, clip generation, captioning, scoring, storage, export, direct posting, account administration, support, billing, and security.
- Duration: the term of the customer relationship plus retention required for legal, security, backup, billing, and audit purposes.
- Data subjects: users, workspace members, creators, people appearing in uploaded media, support contacts, billing contacts, and platform account holders.
- Data categories: account details, media content, metadata, captions/transcripts, usage data, billing metadata, support data, platform tokens, API-key metadata, and logs.
Security commitments
- Row-level security for user-scoped database tables.
- Signed URLs and user-scoped storage paths for media access.
- Encrypted platform tokens and hashed API keys.
- Credit gates, rate limits, concurrency limits, and audit logs for abuse control.
- Stateless workers that clean temporary job files and do not access the database directly.
Enterprise placeholders
A production DPA should add controller/processor terms, confidentiality, subprocessor notice, audit rights, security exhibit, breach notification timing, deletion/return mechanics, SCCs or transfer module, and jurisdiction-specific addenda. Placeholder: [placeholder-dpa-url-or-contact].
